At the bottom of the graphic, the logo of the DC Commission of the Arts is alongside black text that reads: “The Open Doors Festival is made possible thanks to the support of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Projects, Events, or Festivals Grant program.”

Join us for an exciting weekend of celebrating Arts and Disability in the DMV area! The 2024 Open Doors Festival will run on October 18th and 19th at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company for performances, art installations, panel discussions, and an arts market, all built around showcasing the work of local disabled artists and inviting and welcoming ALL to embrace and celebrate our culture.

Founded by Open Circle Theatre, this year’s festival is presented in partnership with Story Tapestries, Extreme Lengths Productions, Georgetown University’s Disability Cultural Center and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and is made possible thanks to the support of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Projects, Events, or Festivals Grant program.

Maintaining the values of our partner organization, Open Circle Theatre, the Open Doors Festival is an inclusive community across race, ethnicity, nationality, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, and socioeconomic status.
