To REACH the Unreachable Star!

We are so proud of our fall 2016 production of The Who’s Tommy and thank you to all of you who came out to see our comeback show.  While producing Tommy, we realized that not everyone was familiar with Open Circle’s history and mission.  So here’s how we’re going to fix that…

To REACH the Unreachable Star: an Open Circle Theatre Retrospective, written by T. Chase Meacham and Suzanne Richard, weaves together songs and scenes from prior and planned shows (Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Songs for a New World, The Who’s Tommy and Man of La Mancha) into a new production to celebrate the rich past of Open Circle in the context of the disability rights movement; and build excitement and funding for its future. It will be 90 minutes of song, dance, and humor that you will never forget! Direction by Suzanne Richard, Music Direction by Jake Null (leading a live band!), Choreography by Kelly King (courtesy of Dance Exchange), Produced by Paula Sweeney, and featuring a fantastic cast led by Open Circle favorite Rob McQuay. A reception will follow each show (one free drink ticket upon entry).

This retrospective is a fundraising musical and theatrical production. All donations are tax deductible. A $50 suggested donation (or more!) pays for your entry. Please do one of the following:
